John has practiced law for over 25 years and has also run several companies. His experience ranges from jury trials in state and federal court; to advising businesses on issues that are critical to their operations; to working with entrepreneurs and business owners to make their vision a legal reality; to, most recently, serving as Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of a company that operates in the health insurance industry.

John spent the first 22 years of his legal career in private practice. He spent 20 of those years with Cozen O’Connor, an AML 100 law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, where he was a Shareholder. During that time, John tried, litigated and/or successfully resolved hundreds of contractual and business disputes for his clients. He also regularly assisted clients in buying and selling companies and forming and launching new businesses, and he negotiated and drafted hundreds of agreements in the financial, insurance, real estate, construction, and technology industries.

In June 2019, John left private practice to join two of his long-time clients. In late 2020, he became a co-owner and CEO of one of those companies – Connect One Health – but also maintained responsibility for all of its contracts, compliance audits, and employment issues.

In July 2023, John returned to private practice and joined Monzo Catanese DeLollis as Of Counsel. At MCD, John focuses his practice on counseling individuals and business owners on a wide range of legal matters, including business start-up issues, business acquisitions and sales, trust & estate issues, and litigation. John also continues to serve as General Counsel to Connect One Health, which operates a brokerage that markets and sells Medicare products, and also provides various types of outsource services to carriers in the Medicare industry.

John graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1994, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. As a Freshmen, John played on the 1990-1991 Men’s Varsity Basketball Team, which reached the Division III National Championship and was eventually elected to the F&M Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

After college, John attended Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1997. While there, John acted as Managing Editor of the Constitutional Law Journal and had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry, who was then a District Court Judge in federal court.

John is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
